The title song for the 1975 comedy Whiffs starring Elliott Gould earned Cahn his final Academy Award nomination — the 26th of his career, a record for any lyricist in Oscar history. Steve Lawrence, a longtime Cahn interpreter, delivered the original recording with characteristic warmth.
