All the Way

Written for the 1957 film The Joker Is Wild, “All the Way” won Cahn and Van Heusen the Academy Award for Best Original Song — their first of three Oscars together. Sinatra’s recording peaked at #2 on the Billboard airplay charts and became one of his most enduring concert staples, performed regularly throughout his career.

Decades later the song got a second life when Celine Dion recorded it as a virtual duet with Sinatra for her 1999 album All the Way…A Decade of Song, earning a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.
